The XMas tournament in Frankfurt has become a must-be event in Volup's annual volleyball calendar. Also this year our team could not have missed one of the most likable and popular tournaments among our players. It is so likable thanks to its professional organisation, for which the German hosts are known, which, together with festive atmosphere and exhilarating games, make it very popular.

In spite of difficulties to complete a team we managed to win gold on the A level. Level C was won by Chillli Katowice, who were reinforced with 2 of our members, and bronze went to another Volup team.

We could not have missed the most important event of LGBT sports in 2011. As the team was rather experimental we hesitated for a long time whether we should play on the B- or B+ level. Finally, in a democratic decision, we registered on the B+. Later, it turned out to have been a good idea, even though we finished just a few points behind the podium…
